Chapter 1 — OverviewFig. 1

Checkout in 135+ currencies. Statements in yours, the next business day.

Oltaris is checkout software for online stores, SaaS products, marketplaces, mobile apps and subscription businesses. Payments are routed to regulated payment partners, which process, convert and settle the money. This manual describes what the software does, what it costs and how to connect it.

  1. 1

    Multi-currency checkout

The customer pays in their own currency at checkout. Conversion and settlement in your currency are performed by the payment partner; Oltaris shows both amounts side by side.

  2. 2

    Fraud screening

Machine-learning models score each transaction as it arrives and flag suspicious ones before an authorisation is requested from the payment partner.

  3. 3

    Tax calculation

VAT, GST and sales tax computed per transaction across 45+ jurisdictions, with rates maintained for you.

  4. 4

    Live reporting

Revenue, conversion, geography and trend figures refreshed in real time and exportable from the dashboard.

  5. 5

    Dispute tracking

Chargebacks raised through the payment partner are collected, answered and tracked in one place, with warning signals shown before a dispute is filed.

  6. 6

    Payout statements

Payouts are made by the payment partner the next business day by default, on the schedule it offers; Oltaris records every transfer with its statement.

1.3Operating procedure

Three steps from first call to first payout.

  1. 1Connect

Install a shop plugin or call the REST API with your keys. Most integrations complete a first test transaction within the hour.

  2. 2Collect

Offer cards and local payment methods in 45+ countries. Customers pay in their currency; the payment partner settles in yours.

  3. 3Receive

Funds reach your bank account the next business day, paid by the payment partner. Oltaris records each transfer with its statement.

1.4Specifications

Platform characteristics.

Values apply to every model. Items marked as included appear on the pricing page under what is fitted as standard. Payouts and card processing are performed by the regulated payment partner; Oltaris never holds, transmits or settles funds.

  • No setup fee. Opening and connecting an account costs nothing.
  • Next-business-day payouts. Made by the payment partner, with the same timing on all three models.
  • PCI DSS-compliant card handling. Card data goes to the payment partner's PCI DSS-compliant infrastructure, never through your servers.
  • AES 256-bit encryption. Data held by Oltaris, at rest and in transit, is encrypted with 256-bit AES.
