1. Who is responsible
Oltaris LLC is responsible for the personal data described in this policy. Contact details are given in Company information (6.1); privacy questions may be sent to contact@oltaris.io.
2. Data we collect
- Contact data — name, email address, business name and the content of your message, when you write to us. The contact form opens your own email application; the data reaches us as an ordinary email.
- Account data — identity and business details, bank account details for payouts and verification documents, when an account is opened.
- Transaction data — amounts, currencies, payment methods, customer email addresses and other details of payments processed through the platform.
- Technical data — server logs containing IP address, browser type and the pages requested, kept for security and operation of the website.
3. How we use it
- To answer your enquiry and to open and operate your account.
- To operate the checkout, screen for fraud, calculate tax, produce reporting and track disputes; the payment itself is processed by the payment partners.
- To verify identity and meet obligations relating to anti-money-laundering, sanctions and the rules of card schemes.
- To keep the Service secure and to investigate misuse.
- To comply with law and with lawful requests from authorities.
4. Who receives it
Transaction and account data is shared with the regulated third-party payment providers and acquiring partners that process payments, convert, hold and settle funds and make payouts; they act under their own terms and obligations. Oltaris LLC is a software company and never holds, transmits or settles funds. Data may also be shared with service providers that host and support the platform, with professional advisers, and with authorities where the law requires it. We do not sell personal data.
5. Retention
Contact data is kept for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and the relationship that follows. Account and transaction data is kept for the life of the account and thereafter for the period required by financial, tax and anti-money-laundering rules. Server logs are kept for a short period for security purposes.
6. Security
Data held by Oltaris LLC is encrypted in transit and at rest with 256-bit AES. Card data is handled by the payment partners’ PCI DSS-compliant processing infrastructure and is not stored by Oltaris LLC. Access to personal data is restricted to staff and providers who need it to perform the functions above.
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and object to or restrict certain uses. Requests may be sent to contact@oltaris.io; we respond within the period required by law and in any case acknowledge within 24 hours on business days.
8. Cookies
This website sets no analytics or advertising cookies. See the Cookie policy (6.4).
9. Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date at the top of the page shows the current version; material changes are notified to account holders by email.
